Everyone’s favorite sandwich in dip form, this Italian Hoagie Dip is like an antipasto salad in a bowl. Savory meats and provolone cheese are tossed with a tangy dressing for a party in your mouth!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of ACME Markets. All opinions are 100% mine.

Football season is in full swing and we are still here watching every second from our sofa. Complete with our favorite game day snacks, the season may be a bit different but we have our the same tasty wings, dips and chips to nosh on while cheering on the home team!

Since we’re not hosting a big group of people this year, I tend to make things easier by grabbing a few ready made items at my local ACME Markets. They have the BEST grab and go items to round out my mini buffet and everything goes perfectly with my Italian Hoagie Dip!

Instead of spending time making homemade wings, we absolutely LOVE ACME Markets Buffalo Wings in the hot deli case. They’re made fresh in-store so you’re getting tender, juicy, plump chicken wings that are so good it’s hard to resist eating them on the way home from the store.

ITALIAN HOAGIE DIP RECIPE (2)

I, also, like to grab a container of their freshly made chicken salad to assemble a few quick chicken salad sliders and a bowl of fresh cut apples. ACME Markets has a wide variety of fresh cut fruit bowls that make it easy to balance out the game day snacks. I love the apples because I can dress them up with a bit of caramel sauce and some chopped walnuts or pecans.

ITALIAN HOAGIE DIP RECIPE (3)

Everything pairs perfectly with a homemade dip like my Hoagie Dip which is made with meats and cheese I picked up in the deli with my wings!

And don’t forget dessert! ACME Markets fresh baked goods in their in-house bakery are fantastic for a little sweet treat. We just LOVE the chocolate chip cookies, they’re soft, chewy and completely addicting.

HOAGIE DIP

This fantastic and easy Hoagie Dip is inspired by the “Hoagie” submarine style sandwich popular in Philadelphia.

The sandwich is loaded with Italian style meats, cheese and condiments which are layered in a long Italian roll.

This Hoagie Dip has all the flavor of that sandwich but without the roll. And all the ingredients are chopped into bite sized pieces so you can just scoop them up with a piece of crostini or just a spoon!

This is a great recipe! Great idea. A literal Italian cold-cuts board in a bowl. Now I’m starving for a hoagie – a REAL back-east, giant hoagie and an Iron City beer or a Schlitz Malt to wash it all down.

I can’t wait to try this! I’m love hoagies but am watching my carbs so this would give me my fix without the bread. I would recommend using mini peppers as dippers! Ohh! I can’t wait…

It’s definitely my favorite when Super Bowl rolls around and I’m tired of rolling around myself. LOL! Good tip with the mini peppers!

Made this for a dinner party this week. Instead of the bread or crackers, I spooned the spread onto Belgium Endive leaves. OMG, perfect! everyone loved it! Great flavor, and keeps the appetizer light. I made some extra spread to put on salads this week for lunch:)

Hello, how long does this keep for?

    • Kellie Reply

We have stored it in an airtight container for up to 2 days. After that the cheese starts to get a little funky.
